With the GoIDEA Special Education Staffing Projections module, your district can calculate weighted caseloads, helping you determine how much staff time is being committed to their students’ cases to avoid overburden. The Staff Projection module allows staff to fill out a simple form with the needs of the student. The form has multiple categories which allow you to select the level of needs. The form then adds up the score for each student per form. Staff can then submit their staff projection form for it to be reviewed and signed off on. Once the form is signed off administrative staff can run a totals report to see the staff allocations and the caseload breakdowns. This will help to balance the load between service providers and to help consider your future needs to support the student caseloads.
