We typically submit claims based on a set schedule, with submissions on the day before the last business day of each month. However, we work with each district to customize this schedule to meet their specific needs.

Everything requires a referral for Medicaid billing, including hearing and vision screenings. The referral must be signed by the student’s actual physician and include a wellness check within the past 12 months. Medicaid does not cover mass screenings.

This program covers services provided under Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), as well as other medical plans of care when medical necessity is established.
