Georgia’s Free Care Nursing Services program is now active and provides local education agencies and school districts the opportunity to be reimbursed for nursing services. This program covers services provided under Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), as well as other medical plans of care when medical necessity is established.

Medicaid-eligible studentsMedicaid-Eligible Students Students who meet specific income and eligibility criteria, making them qualified to receive health-related services reimbursed by Medicaid., with or without an IEP, who meet all other Medicaid requirements.
Who Can Bill?
Licensed Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). Ensure your nurses are listed on your SPL to begin billing.
