The state agency is WI Medicaid. The program is administered under FowardHealth.
Attendant care services (ACS) must be performed by a Special Education Aide licensed through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, or a Special Education Teacher who has been delegated as an Attendant Care Provider. The services need to be listed in the IEP.
We typically submit claims based on a set schedule, with submissions on the 1st of each month. However, we work with each district to customize this schedule to meet their specific needs.

Each LEA must submit monthly claims for all billable services to be eligible for cost settlement. These claim payments are known as reimbursements. The reimbursements are considered interim payments and are paid out throughout the year. Cost Settlements are based on the actual costs of the districts minus interim payments and are paid after the school year has come to a close.
