QUESTYS® - MESSAGEVISIONTM RELEASES 2.0 - CONTENT MANAGEMENT WORKFLOW & LEGISLATIVE AGENDA SOFWARE

SANTA ANA, CA - April 19, 2010 - VillageEDOCS, Inc. (OCTBB: VEDO), a leading Software as a Service (SaaS) provider, announces the release of version 2.0 of the MessageVision Platform (MVP) with updates to Questys-MessageVision’s industry-leading Content Management, Workflow and Legislative Agenda software solutions. We are empowering users to reduce the costs of paper in their organization and helping employees become more productive.

Content Management (CMx) 2.0 is a leading electronic document and content management solution designed exclusively for small- to medium-sized businesses and mid-sized enterprises to provide secure document control and handling while meeting rigorous compliance and regulatory standards and requirements. As a digital solution, CMx removes costs resulting from "lost documents" and directly impacts operational budgets by reducing office space costs through elimination of paper records and file cabinets. Combined with the WorkFlow (WFx) 2.0 module, users can leverage real Business Process Management to automate costly manual processes, significantly increase productivity, and minimize paper consumption.

Collaborate and Communicate

Content Management (CMx) promotes collaboration with a centralized solution for users to create, share, and edit documents, ideas and conversations in real-time, within a secure environment. Users now have the tools to develop better decision-making information and drive more meaningful information out of their existing business application systems.

Value of Combining Content Management and Business Process Management

An effective content/document management system requires an automation business workflow solution to build processes around the flow of electronic documents. Tightly integrated, these two essential systems combine to offer key benefits to your organization:

  • Automating paper-based business processes eliminates time delays and the associated costs caused by manually processing information
  • Replacing paper-based processes with electronic processes makes content accessible anywhere and reduces paper consumption to help your business "go green"
  • Users can share and locate files easily and efficiently, enabling more effective communication and collaboration with associates, partners and customers

Additionally, the new LegisStream® (LSx) 2.0 – Legislative Agenda Management package is released for municipalities. LegisStream automates the entire agenda process, from creation of staff reports, agendas and packets to real-time roll-call, vote tabulation and meeting minutes. From archiving agendas and backup material to searching and retrieving by keywords, agenda item titles and full-text, all information is accessible from the web. LegisStream (LSx) 2.0 includes a number of customer-driven features:

  • Advanced Agenda customization to meet the individual needs of municipalities
  • Enhanced reporting, including: Meeting Summary, Voting, and Legislative History
  • Advanced workflow integration with WorkFlow (WFx) to fully automate the approval routing of any agenda item.

The new 2.0 solution is available to new customers and for upgrade to existing Questys-MessageVision maintenance customers. "We are pleased to announce this new milestone in the delivery of Questys-MessageVision software," said Mason Conner, CEO. "We applied our Agile Development and testing processes to Questys-MessageVision, resulting in shorter time-to-market windows to deliver leading-edge products to our customers. The Questys-MessageVision CMx, WFx and LSx products are key to our MessageVision Platform (MVP) of combining the power of electronic information exchange, content and business process management and unified communications, into one unique Software as a Service (SaaS), in a private or public cloud," he added.
