VillageEDOCS’ Questys Solutions Announces Recipients Of Its 2008 Educational Scholarship

SANTA ANA, CA, NOVEMBER 5, 2008—VillageEDOCS, Inc. (OTCBB:VEDO), a Solution as a Service (SaaS) company, announced today that its Questys Solutions subsidiary has selected two recipients to receive the second annual Questys Educational Scholarship honoring Denise Pennell, a seasoned city clerk and clerk of the board of Kern County, Ca.

Angela Ford, Assistant Clerk of the Board for the County of Tehama, Ca. and Pam Aguilar, Deputy City Clerk for the City of Belmont, Ca. will both receive a $500 educational scholarship to go towards the furthering of their education within the field of California City Clerk or Clerk of the Board. The Questys Educational Scholarship program is an annual program offered to qualified applicants looking to further his or her City Clerk or Clerk of Board Career.

“After reviewing many qualified applications, we selected Angela Ford and Pam Aguilar because they demonstrated a commitment to their public service roles, well documented by many of their accomplishments, qualifications, and motivations,” said Dean Parsons, General Manager of Questys Solutions. “Angela Ford currently has worked for over seven years for the County of Tehama, and has served as a member of the CCBSA (California Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Association) for the same period. She has also been an active member of the CACEO (California Association of Code Enforcement Officers) for the past year. Pam Aguilar is currently pursuing her CMC (Certified Municipal Clerk) certification and has been a member of the CCAC (The City Clerks Association of California) and the IIMC (International Institute of Municipal Clerks) for one year. Her primary interest is in technology, which has led her to pursue a focus toward modernization of many of the City Clerk’s processes and functions,” Mr. Parsons added.

Questys Solutions named this annual scholarship in honor of Denise Pennell, who has exemplified the very best in her profession both as a city clerk and clerk of the board in Kern County, Ca. As former president of the California Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Association (CCBSA) and throughout her career, Ms. Pennell has been a role model for others in her profession. Questys Solutions has been inspired by Ms. Pennell in her commitment to service and excellence throughout her extensive public service career. In addition, she has provided extensive feedback regarding Questys products. As an example, her input was valuable to Questys in developing more innovative and robust LegisStream agenda management software features for city clerks and clerks of the board.
