VillageEDOCS Appoints Derek Wilson To Senior Vice President Of Sales And Marketing

SANTA ANA, CA, Feb. 1, 2008—VillageEDOCS, Inc. (OTCBB:VEDO), a Software as a Service (SaaS) company providing proprietary on-demand outsourced business solutions, announced today the appointment of Derek Wilson, to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“With more than 23 years of experience in executive leadership and sales roles, Mr. Wilson is ideally suited to lead VillageEDOCS's sales force, as well as directly contribute to the Company's overall growth in the SaaS market,” stated Mason Conner, President and Chief Executive Officer of VillageEDOCS. “Derek rose to the top of our candidate list because of his tremendous success in high-growth companies, his knowledge of multiple vertical markets, industry segments, direct and indirect channels, and his experience with technology, Software as a Service offerings and global accounts,” Mr. Conner said.

“He is decisive, solution-focused and results-oriented, and we are confident he will provide effective leadership to our sales team,. His appointment comes at a time when VillageEDOCS is streamlining its corporate structure and bolstering its sales efforts in order to maximize organic growth and take advantage of the unique cross selling opportunities within each of our operating units,” he added.

Mr. Wilson has been a highly-successful sales leader in rapid-growth technology companies. In prior positions he was the Vice President of Sales of the ISC Group LLC; served as Vice President of Sales for Kewill Systems, and was a Director of Sales and Channel Partners of Sterling Commerce, a London-based technology company specializing in technology and SaaS business process solutions to Fortune 500 companies and the world’s largest banks. In addition, Mr. Wilson held management and sales positions with Equant, BAX Global, and S.I.T.A. His career is characterized throughout by outstanding success in building direct and indirect sales organizations that exceed their goals.

Reporting directly to Mr. Conner, Mr. Wilson will be responsible for sales and marketing programs for each of the Company’s subsidiaries and will be based in the Company’s headquarters in Santa Ana, California.

Mr. Wilson earned a Bachelor’s of Administration degree from the University of London, and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Manchester.
